Dean O Shea was born 29/4/72 in the village of Coppull in Lancashire England. He began playing the guitar at the age of 15 years, receiving guitar lessons from his uncle Edward Entwistle, a renowned guitarist in the region. It was with Eddie's experience and talent that inspired Dean to play like his heroes; Jeff Beck, Gary Moore, Joe Satriani and Carlos Santana. Dean says "I remember listening to Eddie practice when I was very young and thinking wow, I'd just love to play the guitar like that. I hadn't really been exposed to much guitarmusic in the past, so to me, my uncle Eddie was the best guitarist in the world!"

"It was really through listening to Eddie play as well as the music that he listened to. That I found out about all these great guitar players that were to become my idols, which they still are today." Dean continues "I vividly remember my first guitar lesson with Eddie. The challenge was to play; Hotel California by The Eagles and I remember thinking, shit, this is harder than it looks!" "Will I ever be able to play this damn thing?! But with enough discipline and perseverance I slowly began to learn the shapes and fingering etc."

Dean was just 15 years old, when he played his first gig, in a four piece Rock Band with his Uncle Eddie called, "The Wolves at the Door". They covered music by artists such as Gary Moore, ThinLizzy, Jimi Hendrix, Roy Buchannon, The Band, Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder, Jeff Beck, B.B.King, John Lee Hooker and music that Eddie had written and arranged.

Dean recalls "It was probably the best experience any young guitarist could have had, I learned a hell of a lot from Eddie, I would play rhythm guitar whilst Eddie sang and played these really soulful lead guitar solos. Eddie would also play rhythm, which gave me the chance to try my hand at soloing, nothing to complex, as I'd only been playing for about 6 months".

Dean spent the next 6 years with Eddie and the Wolves, travelling up and down the country gaining more experience and progressing further on the guitar. Sadly in November 1992 Eddie fell ill. We discovered that he had Cancer, in April 1993 after a hard battle Eddie passed away. This was a bombshell for Dean and his family, but for his love of Eddie and music, Dean decided to carry on playing. Dean continued to perform in various bands over the next few years until finally deciding to start his own.
